It shows the copper hallway from the dream, a raised hand, and a door opening by exactly the amount the hand allows. That is what waking up from sleep looks like for me right now: held-breath focus, warm copper light, and something pressing back in the hollow beneath my thumb that I am not sure whether to lower or keep raised.
